Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)

  1. Prepare the peaches by halving and pitting them.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until foamy.
  3. Stir in the brown sugar until it dissolves into a caramel mixture.
  4. Add cinnamon, vanilla extract, and orange juice, mixing until smooth.
  5. Raise the heat and place the peach halves cut side down in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Flip the peaches carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat and let the peaches sit in the sauce for a minute.
  8. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For low-sugar alternatives, substitute brown sugar with a low-calorie sweetener. Use coconut oil for a dairy-free version.
