Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
- Make the cream cheese filling: Beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the crust.
- Prepare the pecan mixture: In a saucepan, cook corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla over medium heat until thickened. Stir in chopped pecans and pour over the cream cheese layer.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set, cut into squares, and serve chilled.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, toast pecans before use. Allowing the dish to chill overnight improves flavors.
