Description

A delightful toast topped with creamy ricotta, drizzled with honey, and sprinkled with pistachios, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 4 thick slices of sourdough bread
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • 1/2 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • Flaky sea salt as preferred

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. Toast in the oven for 5–8 minutes until golden brown and crispy, then let cool for 2 minutes.
  4. Spread ricotta generously on each slice.
  5. Drizzle honey over the ricotta.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.
  7. Finish with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  8. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
