Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly with cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chunks and half of the salted caramel sauce.
  7. Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about ¾ full.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Let the muffins cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  10. Drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce over the muffins while still warm.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature, and enjoy!
