Description

Ingredients

  • 6 oz dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chopped dark chocolate and unsalted butter over simmering water. Stir until smooth and remove from heat.
  3. Stir in granulated sugar until well combined. Whisk in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Fold in the all-purpose flour until just incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is slightly gooey.
  6. Allow the brownies to cool completely. Whisk together powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of milk to achieve a thick, pourable icing.
  7. Once the brownies are cool, drizzle the icing in concentric circles, using a toothpick to swirl and create a web design.
  8. Let the icing set before cutting the brownies into squares and serving.
