Description

A fun and creative flatbread pizza perfect for Halloween, featuring ghostly mozzarella and playful black olive tombstones.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound flatbread dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese shaped like ghosts
  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • 1 cup cauliflower florets
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Lightly oil a large baking sheet.
  3. Roll out the flatbread dough into a rectangle to fit the pan.
  4. Brush the rolled-out dough with olive oil.
  5. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  7. Arrange the cauliflower florets evenly across the flatbread.
  8. Bake the flatbread for 8 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and lay mozzarella ghost cutouts on the melted cheese.
  10. Press the sliced black olives into the ghosts.
  11. Scatter whole or halved black olives around the flatbread.
  12. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  13. Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with fresh parsley or cilantro.
  14. Slice into squares and serve warm.
